It really finally set in for me over the weekend. I am a Dad and I have a six-year old who is in Kindergarten and before I know it she will be in college. I also have a three-year old and another one on the way. I keep trying to make bargains with these kids to get them to stop growing up but nothing seems to work. The three year-old made me take the rock off of her head yesterday. It didn't seem to be working anyway.
So it is official, I'm grown up. I worry about life insurance, health insurance, 401k contributions and college savings funds. I find myself bitching about the price of a gallon of gas or a gallon of milk, instead of a case of beer.
I never thought I would get here, but none the less here I am. And do you want to know the craziest part? I wouldn't change it for the world!
