JRuby 1.6 Released
JRuby.org released the first release candidate into the wild for JRuby 1.6. This latest version fixes hundreds of user reported issues and provides a very high level of compatibility with Ruby 1.9.
Google Link Shortener API Announced
Back in September of 2010, Google released their URL shortener, goo.gl, to the public. They vowed to one day provide an API allowing developers to integrate goo.gl into their applications. This week Google made good on that promise and launched the “goo.gl API” in Google Code Labs.
