Eclipse Announce Cloud Based Development Tool
The Eclipse Foundation announced a web-based application development tool, similar to the cloud-based web development tool, Heroku, for Ruby. Eclipse promises that this new tool will not just be a port of Eclipse to the web, rather it will be a new platform with an entirely new approach tailored to development in the cloud.
Tomcat 7 Released into the Wild
The volunteer team of developers creating Apache Tomcat version 7 have released the first stable version of the servlet container into the wild. This latest version of Tomcat supports Java EE6 and v3.0 of the Servlet API.
